How can I participate?
If you’re a customer, partner, or other eligible participant, you can submit a referral for a business that may benefit from Zonar services.
How do I refer someone to Zonar?
You have 2 easy options:
- Send them a link to this page so they can submit their information directly. (You can use our email template if helpful.)
- Or, with their permission, submit their contact information using the form on this page.
What happens after I submit a referral?
Once the form is submitted, one of our fleet experts will contact your referral to learn more about their needs.
If they become a Zonar customer within 30 days and make a qualifying purchase, your reward will be based on the size of their initial contract.
They must remain an active customer for 90 days. After that 90-day period is complete, we'll send your e-gift card within 30 days.
If they do not become a customer, no reward is issued.
What qualifies as a referral?
To qualify, your referral must be a business that is new to Zonar. The business must:
- Not be a current Zonar customer
- Not already be working with a Zonar fleet expert
- Not have previously been a Zonar customer
Please note: Zonar employees are not eligible to participate in the referral program.
What qualifies as a purchase?
Your reward amount is based on the number of vehicles included in your referral’s initial Zonar deployment during their first 30 days as a customer.
If they deploy Zonar technology across more vehicles during that initial period, your reward increases accordingly. Smaller initial deployments receive a lower reward amount.
Rewards are issued only after the referred business:
- Signs a minimum one-year agreement
- Pays its first invoice
- Remains an active customer in good standing for 90 consecutive days after service activation
How will I know if my referral signs up?
We’ll email you once your referral becomes a Zonar customer. At that point, the 90-day active customer period begins.
When and how will I receive my reward?
Once your referral has remained an active Zonar customer in good standing for 90 consecutive days, you can expect your reward within approximately 30 days.
Most rewards are delivered as an e-gift card by email, along with instructions for claiming it. In cases where e-gift cards are not available or applicable, invoice credits may be provided instead.
How many referrals can I submit?
There’s no limit. Submit as many unique referrals as you’d like. Each one follows the same guidelines. The more qualifying referrals you provide, the more rewards you can earn.
Why didn’t I receive a reward?
Possible reasons include:
- Your referral has not yet completed the 90-day active period
- Your referral was already a customer or in active discussions with Zonar
- Your referral chose not to become a customer
If the referred business cancels, defaults, terminates service, or otherwise falls out of good standing during the 90-day retention period, the referral reward will not be issued.

Can I earn a bigger reward if my referral expands later?
Rewards are based on the initial purchase made during the first 30 days of your referral becoming a Zonar customer. Additional purchases made after that window do not change the original reward amount.
I’m a government employee. Am I eligible for a reward?
Government employee eligibility is limited due to laws governing compensation to government personnel.
- If you are a current customer, you may be eligible for an invoice credit only. Gift cards or monetary rewards are not permitted.
- If you are not a current customer, you are not eligible for any reward, including invoice credits.
These restrictions apply regardless of the outcome of the referral.
Terms & Conditions
Referral eligibility: To qualify for a reward, the referred business must execute a minimum one (1) year agreement, pay its first invoice, and remain an active customer in good standing for at least sixty (90) consecutive days following service activation, with no cancellation notice submitted.
Early termination: If the referred business cancels, terminates, defaults, or otherwise falls out of good standing for any reason during the 90-day retention period, the referral reward will not be issued.
Verification: All referrals and reward determinations are subject to verification and final approval by Zonar.
